1. Services Provided
Chikmania.online provides an online platform where users can browse menus, place orders for food and beverages, and arrange for delivery or pickup from participating kitchens/restaurants.
2. Account Registration
- To place an order, you may be required to create an account.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided (Phone Number, Email, and Delivery Address) are accurate and up to date.
- We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or unreachable contact numbers provided by the user.
3. Ordering and Pricing
- Order Acceptance: Once you place an order, it is subject to acceptance by the kitchen. We reserve the right to reject an order due to unavailability or delivery constraints.
- Pricing: Prices listed on the website include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout.
- Modifications: Once an order is confirmed and the kitchen begins preparation, no further modifications or additions can be made to that specific order.
4. Payment and Refunds
- Payment Methods: We accept [Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, or Cash on Delivery].
- Cancellations: You may only cancel an order within 60 seconds of placing it. After the kitchen accepts the order, cancellations are not permitted, and no refund will be issued.
- Refunds: Refunds are only processed in cases of:
- The order being canceled by the kitchen/restaurant.
- The delivery being failed by our partner (and not due to user error).
- Missing items (subject to verification).
5. Delivery Policy
- Timeline: Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide. Delays due to weather, traffic, or high demand at the kitchen do not entitle the user to a refund.
- Handover: If the delivery partner is unable to reach you at the provided address after reasonable attempts, the order will be marked as “Failed Delivery,” and the full order amount will remain payable.
6. Food Safety and Allergies
- Third-Party Liability: We act as an intermediary. The responsibility for food quality, hygiene, and preparation lies solely with the kitchen.
- Allergy Warning: Ingredients are not guaranteed to be allergen-free. Users with severe food allergies should contact the kitchen directly before placing an order.
7. Prohibited Use
Users are prohibited from:
- Using a false identity or someone else’s payment method without authorization.
- Harassing delivery partners or kitchen staff.
- Attempting to bypass our security or automated ordering systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chikmania.online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including food-borne illness or delivery delays) arising from the use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in West Bengal.
